About Thame Stoves

Who We Are

Thame Stoves is a family owned business run by Ivan Staines. Thame Stoves is based in Thame and covers most of Oxfordshire as well as Buckinghamshire, and some parts of Berkshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

We are more than happy to visit your home to discuss your needs and advise on the type of stove most appropriate. This will also include guidance towards which fuel would best suited to you.

All materials we use are of the highest quality to ensure your stove gives you many years of pleasure. We will always ensure that following an installation your home is clean and tidy and that you are happy with the work carried out. The majority of our installations are completed in one day.

Stove installation

At Thame Stoves we take pride in each and every one of our installations. Every installation will come with a HETAS certificate of compliance, guaranteeing that it conforms to up-to-date building rules and regulations. At Thame Stoves we also have the correct qualifications + training to fit twin wall insulated systems where there is no chimney.

Re-lining

At Thame Stoves we carry out many relining projects. This can be for many different reasons such as the existing liner has been fitted incorrectly or the wrong liner in situ for the type of fuel being burned. Or it can be from poor maintenance i.e not getting the flue regularly cleaned, or simply it has reached the end of its life.

Camera surveys

We carry out camera surveys whether it's for house insurance purposes, checking for a damaged liner, or a fault with the system. We will sweep the existing flue and once this has been done we will use a full H.D. camera to give us a clear image of the flue being inspected. After each survey a report will be issued to the customer on the day and an optional video can be sent via email later.
